During Austin Burbridge’s career as editor, manager, and business executive, he has created value for stakeholders, and opportunities for employees.
- He supervised thirty correspondents in Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, and South America during fifteen years as executive editor of Cinema Minima, an online news service for movie makers which he had founded in 1997.
- He led twenty-five employees to execute a marketing plan at the industrial marking-equipment manufacturer where he was CEO.
- He set up the first copyediting service at Apple’s dedicated creative agency, TBWA\
Media Arts Lab. - He automated mission-critical operations for enterprises—including Kaiser Permanente, and Wellstream Corporation—with Mac apps which he designed and coded.
Austin was educated at Brown University (B.A., art, and semiotics), Rice Media Center (motion-picture production), and the University of Chicago (art history).
He is a native speaker of American English. He has a working knowledge of metropolitan French.
